Kit with Boss Morris

A celebration of contemporary clothing used for ritual resistance and reclamation, this exhibition will celebrate contemporary UK based artists, makers and performers choosing to express ideas about identity, folk, culture and belief through clothing, accessories and fashion.

The exhibition will include selected items from the costume or ‘Kit’ archive of Boss Morris alongside work by a diverse range of invited artists:

Adam Jones, Angeline Morrison, Ashleigh Fisk, Desdemona McCannon, Edith Morris, Her Mother the Mountain, Josette Britton, Josie Wickes, Lady Kitt, Leonie Freeman, Libby Bove, Lily Cheetham, Lucy Wright, Man in the Woods, May Queen Crafts, Penny MacBeth, Rabbit Baby and Theo Clinkard.

Join us to joyfully mark the coming of Autumn Equinox with a special free performance by Boss Morris and Beltane Morris on Saturday 20th September, followed by a ticketed event with Angeline Morrison in the evening at Ashburton Arts Centre.

Make it stand out
