Poems for people like us. A folk-Valentine / un-Valentine event.

  • Field System 13 West Street Ashburton, Newton Abbot United Kingdom (map)

Prop up your heart, pour some wine, and simmer in the amusing truths of love. Bring your blues, your buoyancy, your brokenness — or even your boyfriend — and seek comfort in the open arms of Field System; alone, with your beau, or perhaps a beau-to-be. Expect homegrown, honest verse and see what the oracle has in store, in this playful evening of shared participation.

Beryl the Feral is an activist-poet, who champions self-awareness and authentic-expression; appearing at wellbeing and mental-health conferences, as well as in schools, onstage, around the fire, and wild-in the-woods. Beryl makes books and zines of cheeky cultural-commentary, advocating for sanities such as simple truth, wonder, and connection, in times of society's strange dellusions. She also runs a range of workshops, events, and courses; enlivening aspiring-creatives towards their own liberated life-force and playful eloquence. www.beryltheferal.com
