Apricity means “the warmth of the sun in winter” and warmth and joy are what Zara’s works brings to her audiences via drawing, ceramics and textiles. With a practice of that explores feminine themes, cycles and rituals, Zara was chosen by Field System as the winner of the Four Quarters award in 2023. This award is given in collaboration with the Arts University Plymouth, in recognition of outstanding work by a graduating student, (BA Hons).
