Ulrika-Igraine live in the Field System gallery

  • Field System 13 West Street Ashburton, Newton Abbot United Kingdom (map)

Ulrika-Igraine is a Swedish-Peruvian singer, storyteller, and songwriter. As a queer and disabled artist, they have brought together diverse groups of musicians and storytellers across multiple projects, including through being awarded an Arts Council England grant. In November 2024, they released their first full length album “The Whispering Bones”.

With deep roots in the Swedish ballad tradition, Ulrika-Igraine brings a unique perspective to blending together themes of love, loss, and the supernatural into the beating heart of their folk noir music.

Ulrika-Igraine will be accompanied by some of the most talented musicians from the South West to create an engaging performance of folklore told through song, music, and storytelling; exploring the shadows of our existence, contemplating belonging and ancestry, reaching into the darker shadows of our shared history.
