December at Field System

Join us on Thursday 5th December to celebrate the opening of our winter group show Brighten Ye Corners!  There is wonderful work in a variety of mediums in the gallery and shop that celebrate the folklore, nature, myth and magic, radiant art to light the darkest of nights! Come one come all for mulled cider and yuletide folk music from Ashburton trio BLT. It's also Ashburton late night Christmas Faire that night, so all your favourite shops and eateries will be open along with the annual street market. If you cant visit find the catalogue HERE.

The shop is replete with lots of seasonal treats from wonderful crafters, from decorations and cards to pottery, textiles, jewellery, books and prints, and lots of gorgeous and unusual things that are too hard put into words…just come and take a look!

To celebrate the winter solstice we will be turning down the lights and lighting the candles, come and see the artworks illuminate the darkest day of the year.

We are also continuing our community workshops and outreach with SouthDartmoor CC, Woodlanders Preschool and Arts University Plymouth. Working with young folk from a variety of backgrounds with these wonderful organisations has been a joy, what a way to wrap up the year.
